Jana Parker, E-RYT-200 opened Balance Yoga Center with the vision of creating a space where all would feel welcome and inspired to experience the joy and transformative health benefits of yoga. Since opening in 2009 the Community has grown and we relocated in 2018 with intent to support this growing community in a more comprehensive way.
We are committed to offering the community a variety of classes and workshops taught by compassionate, high quality instructors who will welcome you into their classes and help you feel comfortable and supported.
We are inspired to bring more variety to our schedule so ALL students will find a class they love. Including Traditional Yoga, Hot and Warm Classes, BUTI Yoga, Meditation, Yin and Restorative Classes and more... Our goal is to make yoga accessible to all who are interested. Come in a find a class that is right for you!
We are committed to the deeper understanding of this practice and offering inspiration for both our students and teachers by offering more in-depth Workshops, bringing instructors in from our community and outside of our community to offer insight and understanding on all different aspects of this beautiful practice.
We are also partnering with Amy Cooper of Shasta Yoga Institute to bring the Shasta Yoga Teacher Training, a 200 hour teacher training, here to Redding. The first time this type of training has ever been offered in our community.
Balance Yoga Center is also now accredited as a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider. The YACEP designation allows Registered Yoga Teachers to earn Continuing Education hours though our classes and Workshops.
