Genie has been practicing yoga for years, but her love for movement started long before the through sports, dancing, and weight lifting. She found that yoga offers her something deeper than physical movement, bringing her home to her breath and her body, learn to sit with discomfort, to slow down, and to show up fully for herself.
She is excited to share her love of this practice with the BYC community, where her yoga journey started. To Genie, yoga isn't about performing, its about presence. Her calm grounded energy and thoughtful sequencing makes for a wonderful experience esch class.
